If you know me, you know I enjoy drinking, eating, and sports. Luckily for me, and I’m sure many MANY more people, all of those activities and more are coming to Estero soon. This past week the Village of Estero Council voted to execute an agreement to move forward on the High 5 Entertainment Venue.
What will the High 5 venue look like and encompass? “High 5 is proposing a two-story 40,000 square foot building, including a mezzanine and outdoor bar seating area. Indoor family entertainment elements include a bowling, arcade and laser tag, and outdoor elements include an 18-hole miniature golf course, 21 pickleball courts and socializing space for elements like bocce and cornhole” (Village of Estero Council Meeting 5/15).
If the Village and Wright construction Group continue to meet their milestones, High 5 plans to open October 2025. The proposed site lies on the (now closed) driving range on Williams Rd between 41 and Three Oaks (see above).
I have not seen updated design plans since April’s Zoning and Planning meeting where the Board requested a redesign. If you have photos, please share. I don’t have the connections yet to get sneak peek pictures. One thing is for sure: I am going to practically live at this place when it opens.
